BOSTON, MA – The St. John Fisher University track and field team stayed at Boston University and competed in the second day of the David Hemery Valentine Invite.
The men started the day strong, with
Ethan Billings running 14:59.10 in the 5000m, furthering his lead atop the Empire 8 leader board. This also shatters the indoor track and field record for the Cardinals, surpassing the mark by 30 seconds.
In the 800m,
Myles Andersen ran 1:59.09, putting him first on the E8 leader board.
Peter Briggs was not far behind, running 2:00.78, allowing him to move up to fourth on the E8 leader board.
The 400m saw
Cole Ferris run 50.34, moving him to first on the E8 leader board.
Brady Bishop was right behind, running 51.16, moving him to second on the E8 leader board. Rob Hartigan ran 51.80, moving him up to fifth on the E8 leader board.
Ending the day, was the 200m.
Trenton Wynn ran 23.01, moving him up to second on the E8 leader board.
Up next for the Cardinals is the Nazareth College – Conference Tune Up. The invitational is on Friday, Feb 17., and is hosted by Nazareth College.
