PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University women's basketball team returns to the court after a Thanksgiving break for three games, including a Tuesday home contest against Ithaca College, which tips off at 6 p.m.
Latest On Fisher
The Cardinals won their lone game last week, defeating Penn State Behrend 76-61 in Fisher's home opener. Freshman forward Joleen led the team with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Lusk, this week's Empire 8 Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week, currently leads the conference in scoring (17.0 scoring average).
Know Your Foe
St. John Fisher has a 34-37 all-time record against Ithaca College, including a 10-22 record since 2006. The two schools used to share a conference and faced each other three times in the Empire 8 Championship Final, including Fisher's 2014-15 conference title victory. The squads last played each other in the 2021-22 season, when Fisher fell 76-54.
The Bombers stand at 3-1 on the season, their lone loss coming against nationally-ranked Trinity on Nov. 13.
Looking Ahead
The Cardinals will play a pair of Empire 8 games this weekend, traveling to Hartwick College on Friday, Dec. 1 and Russell Sage on Saturday, Dec. 2.
