PITTSFORD, N.Y. -- The St. John Fisher University football team hit the road this weekend, traveling to Hartwick College after a bye week following the Courage Bowl. The Cardinals have an overall record of 3-2 and conference mark of 0-1, while the Hawks sit at 1-5 on the season and 0-2 in Empire 8 competition.

Hand It To Peyton
Leading running back,
Peyton Nolan, has had an impressive season so far for the Cardinals. He is leading the conference with 109 attempts and 579 yards, while adding five touchdowns. He has tallied 70+ rushing yards in every game this season, and his two standout games were against Hilbert (23 att, 150 yards) and Keystone (32 att, 189 yards).

Offensive Clicking
Fisher is ranked no. 3 in the conference in average scoring, tallying 30.2 points per game. They are also tied for second with 11 passing touchdowns and fourth with 10 rushing touchdowns.
Aaron Chase has been leading the passing attacked, recording 788 yards and nine touchdowns. He also added 134 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.

The Cardinals have controlled the history over the Hawks, winning four straight and 12 of the last 13. Last season, Fisher jumped out to a 28-10 first-half lead and rolled to a 44-26 victory.

Scouting Hartwick
The Hawks are coming off a 63-0 loss to SUNY Brockport and are on a four-game losing streak. Calvin McDonald leads the rushing attack with 78 attempts and 283 yards and the passing game has been a combination of Dennis Riordan and James Sobol. Riordan has 55 completions for 737 yards five touchdowns to eight interceptions, while Sobol adds 31 completions for 433 yards, two touchdowns and five interceptions. Defensively, Hartwick is giving up 41.5 points per game, 183.7 rushing yards per game and 199.5 passing yards per game.
