PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The Empire 8 conference announced their Players of the Week on Monday and the St. John Fisher University men's soccer was represented by goalie Jadon Schlierf. After a strong week in net, the junior earns his second Defensive Player of the Week award.
 
Fisher finished the week 1-0-1, defeating conference opponent Elmira College and recording a draw against no.22 ranked University of Rochester. Schlierf was in goal for both games and secured two shut outs. He faced 25 shots and tallied nine saves in 180 minutes of action. He brings his goals against average to under .79.
 
Fisher continues their run of conference games with a road match at Utica University. The contest is scheduled for a 12 p.m. start on Saturday, Oct. 8.
