PITTSFORD, N.Y. – St. John Fisher men's soccer fifth-year senior defender/midfielder Jacob McGinnis has earned fourth-team NCAA Division III United Soccer Coaches All-Region III honors.
McGinnis, a second-team selection last season, is the first Fisher player to earn United Soccer Coaches All-Region honors in consecutive years since Adam Blanchard did so in 2004 and 2005.
McGinnis led a Fisher defense that allowed just 18 goals and recorded seven shutouts during Empire 8 regular-season play this year. The Cardinals surrendered just one goal during a 6-1-1 October stretch that got them into the E8 Tournament.
McGinnis was one of two Fisher players who earned first-team All-Empire 8 Conference honors for the 2025 season.
The Cardinals finished the year 6-9-2 overall and 6-3-2 in E8 regular-season play.
