PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The Empire 8 Conference released their conference Players of the week on Monday and St. John Fisher University is represented by men's cross country runner, Ethan Billings.
 
The Cardinals competed in the Highlander Invite, which was hosted by Houghton University. As a team, Fisher finished the race in second place and Billings was the top finisher for the team. The junior competed in the 8k and cross the finish line in a time of 25:46.1 and that time was good enough for second place.
 
Up next for the Cardinals is a road race at Rowan University for the Inter regional Battle. The competition will run at Gloucester County Dream Park at 11 a.m. for the women's and 11:45 am for the men's.
