HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Junior Landon Wertz set another personal record to lead the St. John Fisher men's cross country team in the Houghton Highlander Invite (8k race) on Saturday. The Cardinals placed 10th as a team. 

Wertz placed 17th with a time of 25:52.6. He has now set personal records in the 5k, 6k and 8k this season. 

RIT placed first as a team, while Kenyon claimed second and Lock Haven took third. 

Additional Race Highlights

• Junior Connor Stanton recorded the Cardinals' second-fastest time at 27:46.5. He placed 87th.
