The St. John Fisher College women's soccer team fell 3-2 in overtime to Fredonia State Tuesday afternoon on the road. With the loss, Fisher moves to 2-4-1 on the year while Fredonia improves to 3-7-0
Freshman
Emily Murray got Fisher on the board first, scoring her first-ever collegiate goal just 15:25 into the first half. After the Blue Devils retaliated early in the second half though, Murray was able to double her goal total on the season, tallying one in the 70
th minute.
As play went into overtime, Fisher found opportunity first as
Brianna Sammon rifled a shot towards the goalmouth. The ball whistled wide though allowing the Blue Devils to score a few minutes later.
Also earning two points on the night was
Carly Finn, who assisted on each of the Cardinals' goals.

Gabriella Cotugno got the call in net for the Cardinals, turning aside 10 Fredonia shots.

The Cardinals will return to action at 11 a.m. on Saturday as the team travels to New Jersey for a bout against the Stevens Institute of Technology.
