It's postseason time for the St. John Fisher College football team as it travels to the University of Pennsylvania's Franklin Field to take on Frostburg State in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Asa S. Bushnell Bowl. Ranked No. 22 in the nation by D3football.com, Fisher finished its regular season with an 8-2 record (6-2 Empire 8).

The ECAC is no strange territory for the Cardinals as the team has been in six bowl games in the last ten years. Of those six games, Fisher has come out victorious in five of them, dropping its only loss in 2016 to Westminster College.

Fisher's opponent, Frostburg State, is also a familiar foe as the Bobcats were members of the Empire 8 from 2011 to 2014. Although ranked No. 24 in the country, Frostburg sits at 6^th in the region, one spot ahead of the Cardinals.
