The nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College football team will look to get back on track this weekend, as the Cardinals host Empire 8 Conference rival Ithaca College at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Growney Stadium.

th in the latest D3football.com national poll, suffered their first loss of the season two weeks ago, dropping a 23-6 decision at Utica College. Fisher (6-1 overall, 4-1 Empire 8), who was idle last week, still controls its own destiny and can win the Empire 8 Conference title with three wins to close out the regular season.
Ithaca (4-3, 3-2) enters Saturday's game winners of three of its last four games, including a 34-0 win at home over SUNY Morrisville last week.  After scoring just 18 total points in their first three games, the Bombers have hit their stride on the offensive side and are averaging 37.3 in their last three contests.
This will be the 19th meeting between the two programs on the gridiron. Both teams have each won nine games. Fisher evened the series with a 34-0 win at Butterfield Stadium last year.
