The St. John Fisher College men's and women's basketball teams will begin their quest to successfully-defend their Empire 8 Conference titles this weekend. The Cardinals will open conference play on Friday at Elmira College and on Saturday at Houghton College.
Friday's men's game will tip off at 6 p.m., while the women's game is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. On Saturday, the men will play at 2 p.m., while the women will start at 4 p.m.
The men's team recently took the championship title in the Woodcliff Hotel and Spa Invitational. Fisher defeated Cazenovia College 94-63 in the first game, before winning 67-54 over Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the championship game on the following day.
Lone seniors
