The nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College football team (5-0, 2-0 E8) will make its longest road trip of the season heading to Salisbury University (3-2, 2-0 E8) in a battle between the only teams in the Empire 8 without a conference loss. Fisher is the lone team in the Empire 8 with a perfect record this season.
The No. 19 Cardinals are fresh off a convincing 37-14 victory over previosly unbeaten Hartwick College last weekend. In the win, the Cardinals recorded a school-record 11 sacks, paced by MIike Donitzen, who had three sacks of his own.
Salisbury, who has the number two ranked defense in the conference surrendering just 12.4 points per game this season, defeated Buffalo State 34-6 last weekend.
Fisher has now started the season 5-0 for the third time in the last eight years, also doing so in 2006 and 2010.
The Cardinals will look to defeat the Gulls for the first time in program history, after going 0-4 in the series.
