The St. John Fisher College women's soccer team battled to a scoreless tie in regulation before earning the 1-0 overtime win over Empire 8 conference opponent Utica College.  Today's contest ends the 2010 season for the Cardinals.

Laura Burgstrom tallied her third goal of the season 2:36 into the overtime period off a 15-yard free-kick that slipped through the goalie's hands, stealing the victory from the Pioneers.

Fisher held a 12-9 shot advantage in the win.  Jessica Plukas stopped five shots in 92:36 of play between the pipes.

The Cardinals close out their season 6-10-2.
