A goal in the 55th minute would prove to be the game-winner, sending the St. John Fisher College women's soccer team home with a 1-0 win over host Clarkson University.

Newcomer Laura Burgstrom took a cross from Sarah Bihl, heading it into the center of the net.  Amanda Siebert also assisted on the goal.

Fisher held a 12-2 shot advantage over Clarkson.  Goalkeeper Jessica Plukas recorded on save between the pipes.

Fisher, now 2-7-1 overall, returns to action as it travels to Buffalo State for a 4 p.m. match-up on Tuesday, October 5.
