Colleen Maloney led Fisher with 18 points and five steals.
The St. John Fisher women's basketball team picked up an 87-43 victory over host Hartwick on Sunday afternoon in Oneonta.

The win follows a 67-58 loss at host Stevens Institute of Technology a day earlier, and pushes the Cardinals to 2-1 in conference and 5-3 overall.

Fisher kicked off the game on a 14-0 run over the first three minutes. The Cardinals led by as many as 35 points in the first half, and took a 53-21 lead into the locker room at the half. Fisher did not drop below a 40-point lead in the second half.

Three Cardinals scored in the double digits. Colleen Maloney led Fisher with 18 points (7-for-10) and five steals. Meghan Soja added 13 points and four steals. Senior Mary Kate Comfort chipped in with 12 points.

Kristi Jeffres had a team-high 10 rebounds.

The Cardinals' 87 points are the most scored in a game since their 87-46 in over Cazenovia College in 2008.

The Cardinals return to action when they travel to Alfred University on Tuesday to take on the Saxons in a conference match-up scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. The game is part of a streak of five conference contests in an eight-day span.
