The St. John Fisher College women's soccer team lost to visiting Ithaca College 2-0 on Tuesday afternoon.  The Bombers (8-2 overall, 5-0 Empire 8) entered the game ranked 8th nationally.

In the first half, Ithaca scored the game-winning goal 27 minutes into the period. Following a corner kick, Emily Mogk settled the ball and crossed it to Amy Scheffer for a header that sailed into the net.

Fisher goalie Ashley Martin kept the game close with four saves. The Bombers out-shot Fisher 16-4 in the contest.

Fisher (3-7-1 overall, 2-3 Empire 8) will return to action on Saturday when it hosts Utica College in a conference match up at 1 p.m.
