The St. John Fisher College women's soccer team
fell to host Fredonia State University 2-1 on Thursday night. With the loss, Fisher falls to 1-3 on the year and will host No. 14 Union College on Sunday.
Fisher took a 1-0 lead in the 30th minute on a goal from
Megan Gee. Freshman
Jessica Kowalski picked up the assist on the goal, marking her first career point at the collegiate level.
The Blue Devils, however, tied the game early in the second half, and with less than 10 minutes to go in the game, they scored the game-winning goal on a chip-shot from 45 yards out.
