St. John Fisher University Athletics

Jordan Lehman (Port Leyden/South Lewis) of the St. John Fisher College women's indoor track and field team has been selected as the College's Female Athlete of the Week for the week that ended on December 8th, 2019.

The junior set two new personal records while qualifying for the Atlantic Regional Championship as the Cardinals opened up their season at the Nazareth Early Season Invite last Friday. The Port Leyden native earned second place in the shot put with a personal-best throw of 11.94 meters that was a regional qualifying performance. Lehman also broke her own personal best in the weight throw by throwing 13.51 meters to finish in fourth in the competition.

Fisher will be back in action on Friday when it travels to Houghton for the Highlanders' Early Season Classic.
