Julia Mertsock has been named the College's Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 17th, 2019 after being named the Most Valuable Player in the Emmanuel College Tip-Off Classic over the weekend as the Cardinals posted two wins and won the tournament title.

Mertsock averaged 17.5 points and 4.5 rebounds while shooting 14-for-23 (.609) from the floor in the two-game stretch.

Against Husson on Saturday, Mertsock finished with 11 points, three rebounds and two assists before adding a career-high 24 points and six rebounds on 10-of-15 shooting.
