Eddie Mahana (Clay/Cicero-North Syracuse) of the St. John Fisher College men’s track and field tea has been named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week after competing at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, P.A. this past Friday. 
 
At the Penn Relays, Mahana competed against individuals from both Division I and Division III schools and finished with a personal best time of 53.18 seconds. 
 
With that finish, the Clay native moved himself up the national leaderboard to fourth overall in the 400m hurdles event.

Mahana and the rest of the track and field team will be back in action this weekend beginning on Friday at the Empire 8 Conference Championship hosted at Houghton College.
