Emily Trotman (East Amherst/Mount Saint Mary Academy) of the St. John Fisher College softball team has been named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for her on-field performances during the week that ended March 24^th, 2019.  
 
Trotman pitched a gem in the opener of the doubleheader with Keuka on Thursday afternoon, as the sophomore scattered just five hits and allowed two runs (one earned) over seven innings.  Trotman, who moved to 3-3 on the season with the win, struck out five overall. 
 
The sophomore pitched in relief in the backend of the doubleheader, throwing 2.1 innings hitless innings, while striking out two overall. 
 
The Cardinals return to the field on Wednesday at 3 pm for another doubleheader when they welcome Clarkson to the Softball Complex for to more non-conference battles.
