Borum led the Cardinals to a 34-14 win at Hobart College on Saturday, pushing the Cardinals, currently ranked 21st in the latest national coach poll, to 4-0 on the year.
The junior-transfer rushed for 177 yards on 33 carries and scored three touchdowns (all career-high totals).
Borum scored Fisher’s first two touchdowns of the game, taking it into the endzone from eight and two yards out, respectively.
He also scored Fisher’s final touchdown of the game, punching it in again from two yards.
For the season, the 6-foot-2, 220-pound running back leads the Empire 8 Conference in rushing with 419 yards on 89 carries (104.8 yards per game). His seven touchdowns on the year are also tied for first in the Empire 8.
Fisher will return to action at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Utica College in the first Empire 8 game for both teams. The Pioneers are also 4-0 on the year.
