St. John Fisher University Athletics

Eddie Mahana (Clay/Cicero-North Syracuse) of the St. John Fisher College men's track & field team has been named the College's Male Athlete of the Week after his on-field performances at the Highlander Invite at Houghton College this past Friday. 

 Mahana continued his recent success as he took first place in the 400-meter dash after crossing the finish line in 50.45 seconds. The finishing time ranks him in the top 15 overall nationally in the 400-meter dash event. 

The junior also earned Fisher a first place spot in the 200-meter dash with a new personal best time of 22.84 seconds.

Fisher returns to action on Saturday, January 26th in the Golden Eagle Multi & Invite hosted by the College at Brockport.
