Bre Socker (Liverpool/Liverpool) of the St. John Fisher College field hockey team has been selected as the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week that ended October 20, 2018.

Socker could not be stopped last week as the field hockey team finished with a 2-0 overall record, which included an Empire 8 Conference victory over Stevens.

The sophomore started both games for the Cardinals and totaled four goals, one assist, and nine shots on goal between the two games.

Socker led Fisher over Brockport notching her third hat-trick of her career, while also finishing with seven shots on goal and one assist. The Liverpool native would then follow up with another two-goal performance versus Stevens on Saturday afternoon.
