St. John Fisher University Athletics

Caroline Robertson (Glen Head/North Shore) of the St. John Fisher College women's basketball team helped lead the Cardinals to two wins last week as Fisher edged its winning streak to 13 consecutive games.

Robertson combined to average 17.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game while shooting 15-of-26 (.577) from the floor.

Against Elmira College, Robertson finished with 14 points and nine rebounds before adding a game-high 20 points and three boards on 9-of-15 shooting against The Sage Colleges.

Robertson and the rest of the top-seeded women’s basketball team will return to action at 8 p.m. on Friday as they host fourth-seeded Houghton College in the semifinal round of the Empire 8 Women’s Basketball Championship inside Manning and Napier Varsity Gymnasium on Bobby Wanzer Court.
