Erica Pawlewicz of the women’s track and field team has been named the St. John Fisher College Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on December 11th, 2016.

Pawlewicz had a big day jumping for the Cardinals at the Rochester Institute of Technology Early Season Invitational on Thursday. The sophomore took first place after a leap of 5.29 meters (10th-best in Division III), which qualified her for the ECACs as well. The jump also tied the St. John Fisher College record which was set by Nicolette Lattuca in 2015.

Finished for the year, Fisher will return to action on January 10th as the squad heads to Utica College for the Utica Invitational.
