St. John Fisher College’s Kyle Koehler (Pulaski/Pulaski) of the men’s indoor track and field team has been selected as the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending December 6th, 2015.

Koehler highlighted the Cardinals performance in field events as he finished first overall in shot put in the Brockport Early Season Invite.

Also a winner of the Empire 8 Conference Men’s Field Athlete of the Week, his mark of 15.75 meters is currently the third-longest throw nationally so far this season.

The senior also qualified for the ECAC Championships, which will be held March 4th and 5th on Staten Island.

The Cardinals compete in their next meet this Thursday at the R.I.T. Early Season Invite in Rochester.
