PITTSFORD, N.Y., March 23, 2015 – St. John Fisher College’s Calvin Woolhiser (Horseheads/Horseheads) of the baseball team has been named as the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 22, 2015.

Woolhiser hit .500 (6-for-12) with four runs and four RBI in a 2-1 week for the Cardinals. Fisher moves to 6-8 on the season.

The junior outfielder hit a sacrifice fly to center field to bring in teammate Tyler Troccia as the Cardinals fell 10-3 to Rochester Institute of Technology on Monday.
He finished 1-for-3 with an RBI.

Trailing 4-3 to nationally-ranked Case Western Reserve University in the first game on Saturday, Fisher tied it up in the sixth inning with a Woolhiser single. He later scored the game-winning run in the top of the ninth.

In the nightcap against Case, Woolhiser recorded a two-RBI single as Fisher broke a 5-5 tie in the top of the seventh, erupting for six runs.

The Cardinals return to action at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday when they host the College at Brockport.
