St. John Fisher University Athletics

St. John Fisher College’s Abby Weaver (Waterford/Shenendehowa) of the women’s cross country team has been named as the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 17, 2013.

Weaver saved her best performance for last in the NCAA Division III Regional Championships at Letchworth State Park on Saturday, finishing first for the Cardinals in 101^st place with a time of 23:38.7 over 6K.

Fisher finished in 23rd place with a team score of 24”06.8, an improvement of eight spots from the 2012 season.

The Cardinals finished ahead of fellow Empire 8 members Utica College and Hartwick College.
