Becca Smith (Orchard Park/Orchard Park) of the St. John Fisher College volleyball team has been named as the College’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 14, 2010.

Smith led the Cardinals to a split in the two games in the ECAC Upstate/Metro Volleyball Championship.  The junior outside hitter led the Cardinals with 52 assists and 22 kills on the week, while posting 25 digs.  In both matches, Smith tallied 25 or more in the assists column and 10 or more in the kills column.

For the season, Smith leads Fisher with 432 kills overall, averaging 3.3 a game, and with 1220 assists, averaging 9.31 a game.

Fisher finishes its season with a 20-16 overall record.  It is the third straight year Fisher has won 20 or more matches in a season.
