On Wednesday, Fisher hosted Empire 8 conference foe Rochester Institute of Technology.  Dougherty started off the scoring for the Cardinals early in the second half, as she headed in her first goal of the year during the 51st minute of play.  The goal would end up being the game-winner, as the Tigers failed to reach the scoreboard in Fisher’s 3-0 victory. Dougherty also ranks tied for second in the Empire 8 Conference in assists with three.  The Cardinals (2-4-1 overall, 1-0 Empire 8) will continue their pursuit for an Empire 8 Championship as they travel to neighboring rival Nazareth College on Wednesday.
