St. John Fisher College has named #Adam Davies# of the men’s soccer team as the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 21, 2008.

Davies registered three points on a goal and an assist in the Cardinals’ only win of the week, a 3-0 win over host St. Joesph’s in Long Island, NY.

Davies registered the game’s first goal on a pass from #Luke Lennox# when Lennox sent the ball to the far post, and ensured the win with an assist on the final goal of the game in the 89^th minute on a give-and-go play to Lennox.

For the season, Davies ranks third on the team with three points for the Cardinals, who will return to action at 1 p.m. on Saturday to take on Nazareth.
