Biography

2025: Played in 20 sets over 10 matches… had 28 kills and five service aces… had 12 digs and 14 blocks defensively… had six kills in a win over Mt. St. Joseph on Jan. 11… had three total blocks in a win over Warner (Fla.) on March 5.

2024: Played in 20 sets over 12 matches… contributed 41 kills and seven service aces… had 12 digs and 11 total blocks defensively… had a season-high seven kills in a win over Russell Sage on April 6.

High School: Played volleyball, beach volleyball, basketball, beach tennis, and baseball at a varsity level… Won school’s MVP in volleyball and was voted most improved in basketball and baseball… Named athlete of the year for his entire high school.

Personal: Guillermo is the son of Mario Perez and Maria Izquierdo… He is a Sport Management major… His favorite athletic moment is when his high school team beat a top-ten ranked opponent in an upset that featured one of the best games he ever played… Says he has been involved in sports since he was a baby… His favorite pro sports team is the Golden State Warriors.
