High School: Participated in four sports – soccer, basketball, track & field and softball… named the 2026 Sauquoit Valley Scholar Athlete of the Year… helped lead Sauquoit Valley to a sectional title in 2024… was a CSC All-Star in soccer, basketball and track as a senior… named MVP of her soccer team in 2025… earned first-team Section 3 basketball honors as a senior… was the valedictorian of her class… served as president of her the Sauquoit Valley honor society chapter. 

Personal: Makayla is the daughter of Chad and Denise… she has one sibling… her mother played soccer, softball and basketball at Southern Vermont… she studies psychology. 

Fun Fact: She is a Disney Leadership Volunteer.
