PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher men's lacrosse team (17-2) will face Williams College (7-9) in the second round of the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, in Middletown, Connecticut.

The Cardinals (17-2) will face the Ephs (7-9) at host Wesleyan University's Citrin Field. Wesleyan (11-4) will face the winner of a play-in game between Concordia-Wisconsin (19-1) and Ohio Northern (13-6).

St. John Fisher beat rival Nazareth 14-7 on Saturday afternoon to capture its seventh consecutive Empire 8 Conference championship, earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Cardinals have won at least one game in five of their previous six trips to the NCAA Tournament.

The Ephs earned an at-large bid to the tournament for the second year in a row and the third time in the last four years. They finished the regular season with a 3-7 mark in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) play.

Saturday's contest will mark the second NCAA Tournament meeting between St. John Fisher and Williams. The Cardinals fell to the Ephs, 17-12, in the third round of their first-ever appearance in the national tournament in 2019.
