PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher men's track and field team competed in the Cardinal Classic on Saturday at the Polisseni Track and Field Complex.
Track Highlights

Sophomore Corinthian Reed placed second in the 400-meter run, sprinting to a time of 50.82 seconds.

Junior Jace Stuart took second place in the 800-meter run with a season-best time of 1:57.85.

Freshman Mason Wager won the 400-meter hurdles event, running to a time of 1:00.33.

Senior Ethan Fox placed first in the 200-meter run with a time of 22.35 seconds.
Field Highlights

Senior Brandon Kaplan moved up to No. 6 on the DIII national performance list for the hammer throw with a season-best mark of 60.07 meters. He placed first in the event.

Sophomore Oren Welch placed first and qualified for the regional meet in the pole vault with a mark of 4.54 meters.

Sophomore Samuel Burns placed first in the long jump with a mark of 6.33 meters.

Sophomore Daniel Davis placed second in the shot put with a toss of 42.70 meters. Sophomore Michael Zatlukal placed third at 40.93 meters, and senior Bryce Grove took fourth at 38.10 meters.

Sophomore Brandon Keefe claimed second place in the javelin throw with a mark of 44.22 meters.
