Men's Track and Field Has Strong Weekend In Utica Invite

UTICA, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher men's indoor track and field team competed in the Utica Blue and Orange Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

Friday and Saturday Highlights Heptathlon Highlights 

Freshman London Premo competed in the men's heptathlon and placed eighth overall with a score of 4031. He took second place in the long jump with a mark of 6.46 meters, fourth in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:57.35 and fifth in the shot put with a throw of 10.51 meters. 

Saturday Track Highlights 

  • Sophomore Trystan Biller qualified for regionals and placed first in the 60-meter hurdles event, recording a personal-best time of 8.38 seconds. 

  • Freshman Braxton Houghtelling placed second in the men's open 400-meter run with a time of 53.62 seconds. 

  • Sophomore Corinthian Reed placed second in the 200-meter run with a time of 22.18, setting Fisher's indoor record for the event.

Saturday Field Highlights 

  • Senior Bryant DePaull placed ninth in the long jump (6.46 meters) and sixth in the high jump (1.88 meters).

Select Fisher track & field athletes will travel to Boston, Mass., next weekend to compete in meets at Harvard and Boston University.
