PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher men's and women's cross country programs have been named 2025 NCAA Division III All-Academic Teams by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), which announced its academic honors for this past season on Tuesday. Additionally, men's cross country junior Jace Stuart garnered 2025 NCAA Division III All-Academic Individual honors from the organization.
The Cardinals' women's team posted a 3.67 combined grade-point average during the fall semester, while the men's team finished with an Empire 8-high 3.73 GPA. To qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale during the most recent grading period, among other specified criteria.
An athletic performance major, Stuart boasts an impressive 3.93 cumulative GPA. All-Academic honorees must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top 25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.
Stuart was a first-team All-Empire 8 Cross Country performer this past fall. He placed just outside of the top 30 runners in the regional race.
