ITHACA, N.Y. – St. John Fisher standout Hayden Penna once again bested his school pole vault record on Saturday as the Cardinals' indoor men's track and field team competed in the Ithaca Bomber Invite.
Penna placed first in the event at 4.95 meters, tied for the seventh-best mark in Division III this season. The junior has now outdone his school record three times this season, as he did so in the Nazareth Alumni Invite and in the Cornell Southern Tier Open.

Track Highlights

Sophomore sprinter Corinthian Reed won the 400-meter event with a time of 49.61 seconds, a top-three time in program history in the event.

Junior Jace Stuart placed first in the mile run, finishing just ahead of Vassar's Max Frazee with a time of 4:21.39.

The Cardinals' 4x400 relay team of Reed, Michael Prentice, Landon Wertz and Mason Wagner placed second with a time of 3:25.08.
Field Highlights

Sophomore Oren Welch placed second in the pole vault, recording a mark of 4.60 meters.

Senior Brandon Kaplan won the weight throw event with a toss of 18.05 meters.
