PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher men's basketball team recently had five players named to the 2024-25 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Academic Honors Court.

The Cardinals' honorees include graduated seniors Christian Daley, Cole Thompson and Connor Williams and rising seniors Louis Fay and Max Schneider. The NABC Honors Court recognizes juniors, seniors and graduate students who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or better.

Additionally, the Cardinals earned a Team Academic Excellence award from the NABC for finishing the 2024-25 academic year with at least a 3.0 team GPA.

He scored a career-high 25 points while shooting 10 of 16 overall and 5 of 9 from three in a win over RPI on Dec. 30.

Williams, who majored in cybersecurity, set career highs in scoring (14.5 points per game) and rebounding (7 per game) and posted an efficient shooting percentage (54.1%) during the 2024-25 season. He scored 36 points and pulled down 15 rebounds (both career highs) against SUNY Poly on Jan. 10 and scored 32 points while making a career-high six 3-pointers on nine attempts against Nazareth on Jan. 25.

Fay studies finance and earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors for the 2024-25 season. He led the Cardinals with 42 offensive rebounds and averaged 4.3 points per game as a junior.

Schneider, who's majoring in marketing, also earned CSC Academic All-District honors for the 2024-25 men's basketball season. He averaged 6.1 points and 2.7 assists per game.
