PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher men's volleyball team had 11 players named to the United Volleyball Conference All-Academic Team for the 2025 season, the third most in the conference behind Vassar (14) and NYU (13).
The Cardinals' honorees included Tyler Cohen (inclusive childhood education), Jack DeMaria (inclusive childhood Education), Connor Holmes (biology), Casey Jackson (management), Gabe La Robardiere (inclusive adolescent education), Sonepith Keoviengsamay (cybersecurity), Alex Quinn (finance), Ian Rauh (mathematics), Sam Shutt (finance), Jimmy Roberts (finance) and Nick Tarataglia (cybersecurity).
Additionally, the Cardinals had the fourth-highest team grade-point average in the conference during the spring semester at 3.58.
This marks the 12th year the UVC has recognized academic achievement. Recipients of this Academic List must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.30 (on a 4.00 scale), a 4.10 (on a 5.00 scale) or an 82 (on a 100 point scale) following the completion of the spring semester. In addition, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically, display positive conduct on and off campus and be enrolled full-time at the member institution.
