PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University men's volleyball team has placed a league-high 14 players on the United Volleyball Conference (UVC) All-Academic Team for the 2026 season, the UVC office announced on Wednesday. 

The conference also recognized St. John Fisher as a UVC All-Academic Team for registering at least a 3.0 collective GPA. The Cardinals finished fourth in the league with a 3.51 team mark. 

This marks the 13th year the UVC has recognized academic achievement. Recipients of this Academic List must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.30 (on a 4.00 scale), a 4.10 (on a 5.00 scale) or an 82 (on a 100 point scale) following the completion of the spring semester. In addition, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically, display positive conduct on and off campus and be enrolled full-time at the member institution.
