MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The No. 13 St. John Fisher men's volleyball team was swept Thursday by NAIA St. Thomas University (Fla.) at the Fernandez Family Center.
The Cardinals, 14-3 against Division III teams (2-1 United Volleyball Conference), dropped to 15-5 overall, while St. Thomas pulled back to .500 (11-11) on the season.

St. Thomas won the first set 25-21, the second 25-18 and the third 25-21.

St. Thomas hit .425 and slammed 41 kills in the match, while the Cardinals hit just .179 and had 29 kills. Sophomore Connor Holmes led the team and set career-highs in kills (10) and hitting percentage (.389).

Ian Rauh had six kills and logged a .385 hitting percentage. He also led the Cardinals with three blocks.
