PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher men's lacrosse team fell 19-4 to the No. 3 RIT Tigers on Wednesday night in a crosstown matchup at Growney Stadium.
The Cardinals (4-3) lost their second straight game, while the Tigers, who reached the Division III national title game last year, improved to 8-1. They have won 13 straight games against the Cardinals, a streak that began in 2011.
How It Happened

The Tigers scored the times in the first four minutes of the game, and it was off to the races from there. They led 5-2 at the end of the first quarter and 10-2 at halftime.

RIT ripped off seven goals in the third quarter as its lead ballooned to 15, 17-2. The Tigers added another tally early in the fourth quarter before Fisher finally put an end to a stretch of 13 unanswered goals.

Lane Edinger and Brett Seaman scored for the Cardinals in the first half. Tyson DeLisio and Sean Donaldson accounted for their second-half goals.
