GENEVA, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher women's ice hockey team (2-1) came up short against William Smith College (1-0) in a 2-0 road loss Friday night.
How it Happened
Just over six minutes into the second period, William Smith's Bella Hacker broke the scoreless tie. Keyll Howe added another for William Smith later in the period to make it 2-0.
St. John Fisher freshman goalkeeper Brynn Bacak faced nearly 50 shots and made a whopping 47 saves.Â
Freshman forward Sophie Grant went 12 for 19 on faceoffs.Â
