FAIRPORT, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University women's ice hockey suffered a 6-0 loss to No. 5 Nazareth University on Saturday evening at the Rochester Ice Center. The Cardinals dropped to 2-5-1 overall (0-3-1 UCHC), while the Golden Flyers remained perfect at 8-0-0 (4-0-0 UCHC).
How It Happened
The Golden Flyers came out strong in the opening period, with Amy Laskowski finding the back of the net less than eight minutes in. Laskowski extended Nazareth's lead to two with her second goal of the game minutes later.Â
Laskowski scored her third and fourth goals of the night on power-play opportunites in the second period. Abby Flangan and Ella Mannila found the back of the net before the period ended to make it 6-0.Â
