ROCHESTER, N.Y.- St. John Fisher dropped to 2–4 on the season following an 86–68 loss to the University of Rochester on Friday night in the first game of the Mark's Crosstown Shootout. Fisher trailed 51–36 at halftime and couldn't close the gap despite 13 points from Maximus Michalski and 10 points from Alex Hayes.
How It Happened
Rochester built an early double-digit lead behind a strong shooting start and held a 15-point advantage at the break. Fisher cut the deficit to single digits briefly in the second half, but Rochester continued to score in the paint and controlled the glass to pull away.
