PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher women's soccer team landed a conference-high four players on the 2025 Empire 8 All-Tournament Team, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Junior forward Francesca Logrippo became the first player in Fisher history to be named E8 Tournament Most Valuable Player on Saturday. She scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the No. 2-seeded Cardinals to a 1-0 win over top-seeded Brockport in the conference championship game.

Senior forward Madelyn Wania and senior defenders Abby Fagnani and Ryann Dauksza are Fisher's other All-Tournament honorees.

Wania had three points on a goal and an assist over three postseason games, while Fagnani and Dauksza helped lead a defense that didn't allow a goal in the tournament. Fagnani scored her first collegiate goal in a 1-0 win over Houghton in the first round.

The Cardinals (13-4-2 overall, 9-1-1 E8 regular season) face Johns Hopkins (15-3-3) in Baltimore, Maryland, at 5 p.m. on Saturday in their first-ever NCAA Tournament game.
