PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University men's golf team won the St. John Fisher Collegiate Invitational by 21 strokes at Eagle Vale Golf Club. The tournament, which included four teams, started on Sunday and finished on Monday.
Senior RJ Juodaitis, named Empire 8 Golfer of the Week shortly after the tournament, finished first in the individual standings by five strokes. He shot two under par in the two-day event, carding a 69 (-3) on Sunday and a 73 (+1) on Monday.
St. John Fisher golfers claimed each of the top four spots on the individual leaderboard. Freshman Nick Years came in second (+3), fifth-year senior Nick Tellon came in third (+4) and freshman Colin Patterson came in fourth (+5).
Seniors Andrew Rohrs and Joe DePasquale also finished in the top 10. Rohrs and Gavin Poyer (Hobart) tied for seventh place at +10, while DePasquale and Lincoln Crosby (Nazareth) tied for ninth.
