IRVING, Texas – The St. John Fisher University women's volleyball team swept the University of Dallas to complete a 2-2 opening weekend and a 1-1 showing Saturday afternoon at the University of Dallas Tournament.

Middle blocker Olivia Nellis, Fisher's lone senior, earned all-tournament honors. She had eight kills for a .727 hitting percentage in Fisher's loss to McMurry to start the tournament Saturday and five kills for a .400 hitting percentage against Dallas.

The Cardinals won the first set 25-19, the second set 25-13 and the third set 25-21 in their sweep of Dallas.

Kaylene Noble led the Cardinals with 11 kills and had at least 10 in three of Fisher's four games in Texas. Reilly Morrow had five of Fisher's 15 services aces and recorded a match-high 24 assists. She's had at least that many assists in each game to start the season.

Kiera Hartpence led the Cardinals with 11 digs. Madalyn Bouton (3) and Lydia Fraser (2) paced the team in blocks.

Freshman Lydia Fraser recorded a team-high 10 kills, and Reilly Morrow had a match-high 29 assists, but the Cardinals were swept 3-0 by McMurry in their first match on Saturday.

Fraser, playing in her first collegiate matches, had five or more kills in each of Fisher's first three matches to start the season. She also recorded 27 digs, six services aces and five blocks this weekend.

Only one player – McMurray's Jennika Willis – had as many kills as Fraser in the match Saturday afternoon.
